Privacy Policy
Our Commitment
The We The People Rise Network is built on a fundamental principle: your privacy is non-negotiable. We collect the absolute minimum information necessary to operate the network, and we never share, sell, or expose participant data.
What We Collect
Participants
- ZIP code — Used solely to connect you with local action and resources
- Participant code — A randomly generated anonymous identifier
- Nothing else — No name, no email, no phone, no IP logging
Volunteers
- Name and email — Required for coordination
- ZIP code — For local volunteer coordination
- Phone — Optional, only if you provide it
- Role preferences — What you want to help with
Volunteer information is stored securely and used exclusively for network coordination. It is never published, shared with third parties, or made accessible to other participants.
What We Don't Do
- We do not use tracking cookies or analytics that identify individuals
- We do not sell or share any data with third parties
- We do not store IP addresses or browser fingerprints
- We do not require social media accounts or external logins
- We do not build profiles on participants
Data Security
All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Our systems are self-hosted on infrastructure we control — not on corporate cloud platforms. We cannot be compelled to produce data we do not have.
Your Rights
Participants can abandon their code at any time — simply stop using it. Since we hold no identifying information, there is nothing to "delete" in a traditional sense.
Volunteers can request removal of their information at any time by contacting us through the network.
Why This Matters
In an era of mass surveillance and data exploitation, we believe that participating in collective action should not require surrendering your privacy. Our minimal data approach is not a limitation — it is a feature. We protect you by simply not having anything to hand over.
